Chris has done it all with Wardlaw in his over 20 years with the team. From his early days managing the gas station, to spearheading a fuels and lubes division and in 2012, settling into a Comfort Advisor position. Chris is the ultimate family man. He and his wife Sarah are often with their family enjoying the outdoors whether camping, boating or fourwheeling.
Steve joined the Wardlaw team in 2019 after spending many years in customer service and sales. He chose this field because he loves meeting new people and building relationships. A diehard sports fan, you can often find him on golf course and cheering on his Detroit Lions. He enjoys travelling to new countries with his wife and two children where they try out new food and wines.
Greg is the second-generation owner of Wardlaw’s, along with his sister Kelly. He started working at Wardlaw after graduating from Sault College. After many years as Installation Sales Manager, Greg is now the General Manager. Greg married his high school sweetheart. Together they love to spend time with their three kids and Bob the dog. You can often find the whole family at the ball field or the hockey rink. Greg loves the outdoors, spending many weekends on the trails enjoying his four-wheeler and snowmobiles.
Kelly is the second-generation owner of Wardlaw’s, along with her brother Greg. She started working for her father fresh out of high school and spent many years overseeing the oil and service divisions. When Kelly & Greg formed Wardlaw Heating & Cooling, she became manager of the now larger than ever Service Division. Outside of work, Kelly loves to spend time with her husband of over 30 years, their children and granddaughters. Together they spend time camping and enjoying the best of food and wine in Sault Ste. Marie.
Derek is one of the third generation Wardlaws in the company. Derek brought his knowledge of Sales & Customer Experience to Wardlaws in 2016. In addition to Information, Sales & Marketing, Derek oversees the Health & Safety and Human Resources at Wardlaw. Derek sits as Chair of Strive Young Professionals Group and a Director of the SSM Chamber of Commerce. He enjoys spending his free time skiing at Searchmont, taking in local sports, dining at local restaurants or relaxing on the water with friends and family.
Lois has been a part of the Wardlaw team for over 25 years. After owning her own bookkeeping company, Lois combined her experience in inventory management and accounting to become the company Comptroller. Lois has made the Wardlaw team her extended family and has experienced many wonderful vacations with other team members. In recent years, Lois splits her time at the office and working remotely to enjoy sunshine all year long. Together with her husband Alec, Lois loves to travel, often to visit their children and grandchildren.
Marlene holds the distinction of being the first, non-family member to celebrate 30-Years at Wardlaw. Marlene spent many years balancing roles as a Gas Bar Manager and Accounts Payables. In 1996, she moved into the office fulltime in her Payables role. Marlene and her husband George are avid curling and hockey fans. In the summer she is often at the golf course. She enjoys spending time with her daughters and grandchildren and travelling home to Newfoundland.
Nancy has been working in the HVAC industry for 33 years, spending the past 20 years on the Wardlaw team. Her time dispatching in the service department lead her to becoming our Inventory Coordinator. In her spare time she loves to spend time with her husband of over 30 years and their family. You can find her camping in the summer or crocheting and scrapbooking to relax.
Sheri joined the Wardlaw team in summer of 2019 bringing years of customer service experience. After only 6 months in the HVAC industry, Sheri became our lead dispatcher. Sheri is currently working towards a bookkeeping and payroll certificate to further her skills. Outside of the office, Sheri enjoys spending time with Aaron and their two children hunting, camping, reading and riding her 4 wheeler.
Kelly is the newest member of our office team although we have worked closely with her for the past 5 years. Kelly brings years of customer service experience, the past 5 years working in the fuel and heating industry. She is excited to expand her knowledge in her new role at Wardlaw. Kelly enjoys her summers swimming in Lake Superior and Lake Huron. Camp is her happy place. She is even known among family and friends for being crazy enough to take the first plunge into the lake each spring.
Bill has been a part of the Wardlaw team for over 20 years. Always a Yes-Man, Bill has helped with installations and duct cleaning before being promoted to the Inventory and Yard Attendant. Bill is a talented handyman and has helped in many projects that involved anything from painting to drywall. Among Bill’s many talents, he is an exceptional guitar player! He enjoys riding his bike and going for walks with his wife Shirley.
Leonard is part of the 20 year club here at Wardlaw! Known for his trouble shooting skills, Leonard is able to diagnose some of the most unusual scenarios with heating and cooling equipment. Leonard is full of talents and has earned himself a reputation for rescuing plants our office team can’t keep alive.
Art has spent time as a Service Technician, Service Manager, Installation Manger and after 28 years in the field, he retired from his final position as Comfort Advisor. Not one to sit at home, he soon came back to work as a part-time Installer and Installation Advisor. Art and his wife have two sons and growing grandchildren. When not working Art enjoys visiting the hunt camp, fishing and riding his quad with his grandsons.
Norm is another team member who has been with Wardlaw for over 25 years. Working as a lead installer Norm has trained many installers on our team. Known for his precision and neatness when installing complex jobs, Norm really shines on his boiler installations.
Nick started his career as a technician at Wardlaw over 10 years ago. He has been a dedicated mentor who coaches and trains our junior technicians and apprentices. Nick is well known for his customer service and was the winner of the Customer First Award by the SSM Chamber of Commerce in 2019. Nick is always busy spending family time with his wife Lindsay and their two sons. Nick and Lindsay are strong advocates for Autism Ontario – Sault Ste Marie.
Jordan is a third-generation Wardlaw involved in the company. He started his career with Wardlaw over 10 years ago and completed his HVAC certification at Cambrian College. Jordan is constantly continuing his education in the field currently working at his Tin Smith apprenticeship. Outside of work Jordan enjoys staying active in and coaching kickboxing. He is a talented musician who loves to play with his band. When he is not jamming or coaching. You can often find him and his dog Crixus spending time with his family.
Leo is another 20-year member of the Wardlaw team. Leo is know for setting the bar early in his career with top craftsmanship when building duct systems. Leo can figure out an effective design for even the most complicated layouts.
Scott joined the Wardlaw team in 2015 and quickly became known for his fun and upbeat personality. Scott is a master in his craft and is a great mentor to our apprenticing tinsmiths. Known for the cleanest and most precise duct work, Scott specializes in minimally invasive home retrofits. Scott loves to spend time with his wife and their family. In his spare time he loves to be out on the lake fishing!
Mark can do it all here at Wardlaw. Working between installations and repair service, Mark’s favourite part of his job is working to diagnose strange problems with HVAC equipment. Outside of work Mark keeps busy spending time with his young family and often working to renovate their new home.
Chris is another multi-talented HVAC professional who works between both Installations and repair service. Chris is known by many customers for working our eastern areas when he is on-call. Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending quality time with his wife Jessica.
After years working in Western Canada, Will joined the Wardlaw team in 2016. He quickly became known among the entire team for his great wit and sense of humour. Will is equally loved by customers who appreciate his kind attitude and clean, efficient work.
Jeff started with Wardlaw just a couple year ago, but has spent most of his adult life working as an HVAC Installer. Jeff and Melissa have recently become proud first time parents. When not at work, they enjoy spending free time out at their family camp.
David is one of the newest members of the Wardlaw team. Knowing that he wanted to work with his hands, David took the HVAC program at Cambrian College before taking his spot on team Wardlaw. Outside of work David loves sports. You can also often find him spending time on the water, fishing with family and friends.
Kevin is a second generation HVAC installer in his family. After working in the industry for years in Alberta, Kevin came home and took a position on the Wardlaw team. Kevin and his wife Deanne love to get muddy on their four wheeler and dirt bike. Kevin is also a self proclaimed mama’s boy and enjoys spending time visiting his mom.
Cliff was welcomed to the Wardlaw team recently and brings with him a lifetime of experience in HVAC. Spending much of his time in industrial HVAC, Cliff has spent the past few years primarily in residential installations and repairs. After brief time off into retirement, Cliff was ready to keep busy by working. When not on the tools, cliff is often spending time with his family and friends.
Jake is one of the newest members to join our team. He has recently completed his formal training in HVAC at Cambrian College. Outside of work Jake loves to watch and play sports with his family and friends.
Dylan Reynolds first joined our team as a CO-OP student and after continuing his education at Cambrian College, joined our team full time. When not busy with work, Dylan loves to be outside. He spends much of his free time on his snowmachine or on the water fishing.
